My Approach


Using long standing Traditional Eastern Medicine in combination with my Western Medicine knowledge and my personal naturing approach with natural treatment methods, I help women find regularity in their menstrual cycle + fertility journey and alleviate menopause symptoms.

How Do I Treat?

  1.  Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis - No two patients are the same, I use a variety of tests and assessment techniques to determine the patients chief complain in relation to their person dysfunction and pattern of disharmony
  2. A variety of treatment modalities – I use Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques for treatment including: acupuncture, cupping, tui na, gua sha, auricular therapy, herbal medicine, and diet & lifestyle therapy to help get results, get patients feel better and get patients back to their lives they want to live. You can learn more about some of the different assessment and treatment modalities I use below.

Chinese Medicine 

Chinese Medicine is a holistic form of medical care that does not just treat symptoms or conditions, it encompasses the constitution and biochemistry of the individual as a whole. Using an individual approach to focus on optimizing all aspects of your health and wellness. This involves diagnosing based on all aspects of the patients health, including stress, sleep, energy, physiology, digestion, psychology and overall state of balance. Chinese Medicine effectively treats a wide assortment of health conditions. 


Modalities of Chinese Medicine 


Acupuncture 

A technique using small needles to balance energy and overall well being of the individual. Needling acupoints stimulates the release of chemical signals, hormones, change perception of pain and influence the body's internal systems. Overall improving energy, healing, correct imbalance of internal organs and impacting the individual's emotional well being.

Cupping 

A deep-tissue therapy using glass cups to create suction, either left on the skin or glided around. Muscle and skin are gently pulled upwards to disperse and breakup the cellular debris causing stagnation and congestion in the area. 

Gua Sha & Tui Na 

Gua Sha

A therapy using an instrumental gua sha tool to scrape the intended muscle are to enhance healing. This can cause breakage of the blood capillaries under the skin to promote immune support, reduce inflammation and pain.

Tui Na

A body system type of massage, based on the imbalances of energy within ones internal and external systems. 

Auricular Therapy 

The ear is viewed as a micro-system of our entire internal and external body. It has many acupoints that can be stimulated with acupuncture or acupressure to help correct and promote optimal health. Can be used in conjunction to acupuncture , or ears seeds may be placed onto specific acupoints to allow milder, yet prolonged effect of these acupoints after a session has completed.  

Herbal Medicine 

Natural plant derived formulas specific for individual conditions and constitution with little to no side effects and can be taken with while on other medications. 

Diet & Lifestyle Therapy

Personal modification and recommendation to help with the individual's imbalances. 

Can be, but not limited to the areas of: sleep, nutrition, daily habits, physical activity, work and play
